About

Philosophy of care

I believe that a strong doctor-patient relationship is at the center of delivering great medical care. I make sure to listen to what your chief complaint is but also don't mind hearing about that fantastic vacation you went on. Ongoing communication is also important. Once we have discussed your symptoms we will develop a comprehensive plan to try to get to the bottom of what is going on. I like to keep my patients up to date when abnormal or important results come in so that anxiety about a specific test is kept at a minimum. Tying it all together, I believe in always having a sense of humor and that a good laugh goes a long way.

Why I entered medicine

I always enjoyed listening to people and also being able to help them with their problems, and I decided early on that being a physician would be a great way to combine both of these loves.

Personal interests

I enjoy spending time walking with my dog and my wife, watching baseball and football, listening to an eclectic mix of music, and reading Sci-Fi/fantasy.
