Advanced Practice Providers

CINDY ANDERSON, PA-C

Cindy Anderson, PAC, employed at Scranton Orthopedic Specialists of Coordinated Health for 15 years.

She graduated from the State University of New York at Geneseo with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1993.  Cindy then graduated from the King’s College Physician Assistant program with a Bachelor of Science as a Physician Assistant, graduating cum laude in 1996.

Cindy trained and worked as an EMT during her college tenure.  She then spent 7 years working in family practice but found her true passion working in orthopedic surgery for the past 16 years.  Although working in family practice was rewarding , she found working with her hands in surgery  more fulfilling!

Cindy works mostly with Dr. Henzes practicing  general orthopedics, although mainly assisting with joint replacement and a multitude of fracture treatments.  She also spends time with Dr. Gillick working in the specialty of spine.

When her kids were small, Cindy spent a lot of time coaching their sporting teams including basketball, softball, and lacrosse. She now enjoys watching her 2 kids both on and off the field mature into young adults.  Cindy enjoyed playing sports as well while in high school and college including volleyball, soccer, and softball.

When asked “Why Coordinated Health?” the answer was simple.  Scranton Orthopedic Specialists has become more than a job, it has become my  family.  When the practice was acquired the choice was easy.  Not only do I get to stay with my family, I get to grow with an organization with great ambitions and visions for the future.
